Admiral Kathryn Janeway decides that three years behind a desk at Starfleet Headquarters are enough for her. With a handpicked crew, she decides to brave the unknown once more with a new ship, and a very experimental type of propulsion. Seven of Nine has helped design the new engines with the help of Starfleet's Theoretical Propulsion Group. Together again, Janeway and Seven can only brace themselves for what is to come next.
